The MVH-402 weighs in with 12,400 pounds of centrifugal force driven by a reliable 13-horsepower Honda GX-390 gasoline engine with a recoil start. The MVH-402 totals 918 pounds on the scales. Standard plate size is 22 x 35 inches but the compactor comes complete with 6-inch extension plates giving the operator additional coverage for different applications.
Multiquip Reversible plate compactor incorporate a unique hydraulic reversing mechanism, eliminating old-fashioned linkage adjustments. There are no complicated mechanical drive shafts or cables to create problems, thus greatly reducing service time and expense. It is perfect for difficult jobsite conditions – can be backed out of a trench while still compacting.
