Like all Multiquip reversible plate compactors, the MVH-306 features a unique hydraulic reversing mechanism that eliminates old-fashioned linkage adjustments. This plate is powered by your option of a 9hp Honda gasoline engine or a 7hp Yanmar diesel engine, either way the plate produces 10,125 pounds of compaction force. Standard plate size is 18 x 34 inches. but the compactor comes complete with extension plates that attach to the base plate adding another 6 inches to the working width.

Multiquip Reversible plate compactor incorporate a unique hydraulic reversing mechanism, eliminating old-fashioned linkage adjustments. There are no complicated mechanical drive shafts or cables to create problems, thus greatly reducing service time and expense. It is perfect for difficult jobsite conditions – can be backed out of a trench while still compacting.
