MBW BlitzScreed Truss Screed

| The BlitzScreed is state-of-the-art in vibratory
screeds. It sets up and cleaned in roughly half the time of
other screeds. The Blitzscreed has 3 main components: The Trusses,
The Engine Drive Kit, and The Winch Kit. The trusses come in
3 lengths that can be put together to fit the length of your
application. All you need to do then is choose which engine
and what type of winch. Three Easy steps for a complete

BlitzScreed Trusses
|
MBW's Blitzscreed® trusses are lightweight, and all bolt on construction for speed of assembly and true alignment. The exclusive quick coupling system makes section assembly fast, easy, and eliminates failures of mechanical connectors. The unique cast aluminum A-frame design provides maximum structural strength, also allowing ease of transportation and lifting. A double-jointed turnbuckle allows surfaces to be finished flat, crowned either parabolic, rooftop or inverted. Vibration is provided through an offset yet rigidly fixed bearing system that insures vibration along the full screed length and eliminates hammering action.

Drive Kits
|
5.5 and 8 horsepower Honda drive kits provide the screed with up to 2600 vpm
(vibration per minute). Each drive kit is complete with the Honda engine, engine
bracket, v-belts, and pulleys. The 5.5 horsepower drive kit is only recommended up to a 38 foot 4 inch screed, while the 8 horsepower kit can handle up to 60 foot 8 inches.

Power Winches
|
Manual and Hydraulic winch systems for the Blitzscreed. Manual winches are simple yet cost effective for small jobs. Two man operation for left and right usage. Hydraulic winches enhance safe operation with a top mounted engagement lever for instant activation and deactivation. Travel speed is easily adjusted through a simple valve control. The units also have an adjustable auto-stop valve that disengages the winches in case of an obstruction. Each end operates independently for maximum maneuverability around columns and other obstacles. **Hydraulic winches add 20 inches to the length of the screed.
Each kit includes 2 winches (one for each side).
